STORY

Max North, also known as Riot, grew up in a town near Newcastle. The town had a Magnaplex factory that employed most of its residents.

It was a community far removed from centers of power, where people, regardless of race, creed, or gender, united to support each other. They attempted to unionize, but the factory closed, leading to widespread hunger and the town's collapse.

Riot couldn't bear to see this fate befall the rest of the world if they became president.

Riot grew up knowing they had to raise their voice for those caught in the world's machinery.

Their band, Reality Asylum, an anarcho-punk group, combined messages of resistance to capitalism with community work, providing food and education. They established food banks, community gardens, and helped rebuild the local community.

One night, Riot had to rescue people in a flooded neighborhood. A river was redirected into that area to protect wealthy homes. Riot realized that hyperlocal efforts could help a small community, but real change had to start from the top. No matter how many gardens and food banks you set up, the wealthy and powerful could always divert a river into your home.

Riot aspired to fulfill their goal by becoming President, changing the world from the top, and was chosen as a Runner for their "Steady and Resolute Determination."
